Champion of the 2021 Campeonato Paulista and the 2023 Copa do Brasil with decisive goals in both victorious campaigns, Luciano renewed his contract with Tricolor until December 31, 2026 – the old one was valid until the end of 2024.
The number 10’s intense relationship with São Paulo has already resulted in titles, 67 goals and 21 assists, being the top scorer in the current squad, followed by Calleri (62 goals). With 201 games, the striker is surpassed only by Arboleda (254) in the number of appearances for the São Paulo team.

In 2023, he was the line player from São Paulo who played the most and, thus, recorded his most frequent season in his career: he played 65 duels, surpassing 2022, with 59. Furthermore, he was the Tricolor’s top scorer in the year by balancing the nets 15 times and is the second greatest assister, with eight passes for goals, behind Wellington Rato, with ten.
In both victories for São Paulo, Luciano left his mark: in the 2021 state championship, he scored four goals, two of which in the knockout stage, against Mirassol (semifinal) and Palmeiras (final).
In the unprecedented title of the Copa do Brasil, the number 10 scored in the clashes with Sport (round of 16) and Corinthians (semi-final), in addition to providing two assists: one for Marcos Paulo, against the Pernambuco team, and another for Caio, in the quarterfinals. final against Palmeiras.
The São Paulo goalscorer also has good numbers in knockout matches for Tricolor: there are 27 direct participations in goals. In 45 games, he scored 18 times and provided nine assists.
