jpnn.comJAKARTA – The DPP of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) through an internal Party Court hearing has found evidence to dismiss Tia Rahmania as a cadre. Tia is considered to have shifted the party’s votes to herself in the 2024 legislative elections.

Chairman of the DPP for PDIP National Legal System Reform, Ronny Talapessy, said that the Party DPP, based on the political party law, is said to be related to internal disputes, which are resolved through the Party Court.

“Regarding sanctions, it is regulated in Article 31 of Law Number 11 concerning Political Parties, which regulates the mechanism for party members, dismissal, it is regulated in the bylaws. So, Sister Tia’s process is that we, the Party DPP, have heard 135 “Yesterday’s legislative election dispute case took place,” said Ronny accompanied by PDIP DPP Chairman Eriko Sotarduga at a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Central Jakarta, Thursday (26/9).

Ronny said that the PDIP DPP recruited former Constitutional Court (MK) judge Muarar Siahaan. Ronny emphasized that the trial process was carried out professionally in examining every complaint case related to legislative disputes.

According to Ronny, 135 cases were examined from DPRD to DPR RI levels. And in the DPR RI, eleven requests were granted, one of which was Bonnie Triyana’s lawsuit.

“In relation to Sister Tia, we are based on the chronology, that on May 13 2024, the entire province of Banten decided on 8 PPKs in 8 sub-districts in Dapil Banten I, Lebak and Pandeglang. This was proven guilty of committing a vote transfer violation in favor of Brother Tia Rahmania, Ronny said.

On May 13 2024, Bawaslu of Banten Province decided that 8 PPKs in 8 sub-districts in Dapil Banten 1 (Lebak-Pandeglang) were found guilty of committing a violation of vote transfer in favor of Tia Rahmania and received administrative sanctions.

On August 14 2024, the PDI-P Party Court heard the Tia Rahmania case. The Party Court ruled that Tia Rahmania was proven to have inflated votes and violated the party’s code of ethics and discipline.

Ronny said that the PDIP DPP recruited former Constitutional Court (MK) judge Muarar Siahaan.
