Pakistani actor Fawad Khan gained 25 kg for the film ‘The Legend of Maula Jat’. Fawad, who was 74 kg, had increased his body weight by 100 kg. But soon after, Fawad revealed that he was hospitalized due to kidney failure.

Fawad said that he took inspiration from Aamir Khan and Christian Bale for his body modification but regretted being in the hospital because of it.

Aamir Khan underwent a major body transformation for the 2008 film Ghajani. Aamir made such changes in 13 months. Aamir has also made such changes in his body for the film ‘Dangal’. Christian Bale is also a person who has undergone such a big physical transformation.

But Fawad did not take enough time and did self-training for a month and a half and finally ended up in the hospital.

“It was not a good thing I did to myself. I will never do it again. It affected me negatively. There is a dark side to all these physical transformations. When you take such decisions you have to know that it can take a huge toll on your health. It happened to me. I ended up in hospital. My kidneys failed” – Fawad said during an interview.

Now Fawad is back with Mahira Khan in ‘The Legend of Maula Jatti’. The Punjabi language film The Legend of Maula Jat is the most expensive Pakistani film to date. The film will release on October 22.
