The objective is to reach an agreement with financial creditors and overcome the company’s crisis. This Monday, 3, Americanas stated that the most recent proposal presented to financial creditors indicates a short-term capital increase, in cash, in the amount of R$ 10 billion, accompanied by two additional capital increases of up to R$ 1 billion each. “The two additional capital increases may be triggered if the Company is, on future dates to be agreed, above certain maximum leverage limits or below a minimum liquidity level, both to be detailed in due course”, says the company’s statement. . The retailer also informed that it continues with the negotiations of these terms with the financial creditors. However, to date, there has been no agreement regarding the proposal presented. “The Company hopes to continue maintaining constructive discussions with its creditors in search of a sustainable solution that allows the continuity of its activities”, he concluded.
