It took 29 years for the first Tron movie to have a sequel, and 15 years to have a third opus? After a first release in 1982, “Tron: The Legacy” in 2010, “Tron: Ares”, the third film in the science fiction saga should soon see the light of day on the big screen.
Directed by Joachim Rønning, author of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge” in particular, Tron 3 has already revealed some information about it, according to Deadline and Hollywood Reporter media. Produced by Disney Studios, the film will star Jared Leto as Ares, the manifestation of the Tron program. The interpreter of the Joker in Suicide Squad was in the pipes from the first projects around a sequel in 2015.
