Tropical storm “Aletta” will cause rain in the Mexican Pacific

When there is still concern about the huracán “Beryl” in the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Pacific Ocean was formed Tormenta tropical “Aletta”which will cause rains in several states of the Republic.

The National Meteorological Service reported that “Aletta” is located 320 km southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco, and 340 km southwest of Manzanillo, Colima.

The tropical storm maintains maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h and gusts of 85 km/h.

Although “Aletta” is moving northeast at 17 km/h, it will cause rain in Mexican states.

In Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán, heavy rains are expected, which could be accompanied by lightning and hail.

In these three states, the levels of rivers and streams are also expected to rise, and there could be landslides. On the other hand, waves of 1 to 3 meters in height could be expected on the coasts of these states and winds with gusts of 50 to 70 km/h.
