One of the biggest worries moms have when it comes to returning to work is how much time they will be able to devote to breastfeeding during the day. “The first year, you are entitled to one hour per day,” says Doriane Grenier. The law requires companies with at least 100 employees to provide a room dedicated to breastfeeding, to breastfeed babies directly or express milk. “In this case, I advise you to put a small sign in front of the door if you do not want to be disturbed. »
The transition is not always simple between the first weeks when the child and his mother remained closely linked and the return to active life. “Don’t worry, babies know the difference between being looked after by their nanny and by their mother,” explains Doriane Grenier.
