Yesterday around 11am, a truck veered off the road, falling 10 meters and landing upside down on a railway track. The driver, believed to be in their mid-40s, is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries. A police investigation into traffic negligence has been launched, but no individuals have been identified as suspects. According to Caroline Karlsson, the police’s press officer, it has not been possible to speak to the truck driver. The truck is undergoing a technical examination.

It was shortly after 11 o’clock yesterday, Thursday, that a truck left the road, fell ten meters and landed upside down on a railway track.

The driver, who is said to be in his 45s, is still being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The police have launched an investigation about negligence in traffic but no person has been served with any suspicion.

– It has not been possible to talk to the truck driver, says Caroline Karlsson, the police’s press officer.

During the day, a technical examination of the truck is carried out.
