The Canadian opposition Conservative Party launched a debate in the country’s parliament on the topic of a vote of no confidence in the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

According to the TV channel, the debate will continue until October 1, and at the end a vote will be organized for or against the launch of this process in relation to the Cabinet of Ministers, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

“In their statements, the Conservatives demanded that other opposition parties stop supporting the ruling Liberal Party and give Canadians the solution they desperately need,” the statement said.

As CTV notes, this is the second attempt by the opposition to launch a vote of no confidence against Trudeau. The TV channel emphasizes that last time the Conservatives did not have enough votes from the New Democratic Party and the Bloc Québécois. If they manage to win them over to their side during the debate, the process can begin. At the same time, both political forces have not yet made clear statements regarding whether they will support or reject the conservatives’ proposal.
