Mo.Activists release the Alone Teaser of the movie Elon on Mohanlal’s birthday. The teaser has been released with the dialogue ‘True heroes are always alone’. Elon is another movie in which Shaji Kailas and Mohanlal come together after 12 years.
Shaji Kailas completed the shooting in a record time of 18 days. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. This is also the 30th film of Ashirwad. The launch of Ashirwad Cinemas was the 2000 super hit film ‘Narasimha’ starring Shaji Kailas and Mohanlal. This is Shaji Kailas’ next Mohanlal starrer after the 2009 crime thriller ‘Red Chillies’.
Rajesh Jayaraman, who has previously written for Shaji Kailas’ Time, Sound of Boots, Madrasi and Ginger, is writing the script. Cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam, Editing by Don Max. Mohanlal will be seen in a different getup from the recent films in terms of hairstyle and dress.

Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph’s Twelfth Man is Mohanlal’s latest release. The film, which was released on Amazon Prime, is getting a good response. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. The screenplay is by KR Krishnakumar. Twelfth Man stars Anushree, Aditi Ravi, Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Veena Nandakumar and Sivada Nair. Satish Kurup is the cinematographer of the film. Rajeev Kovilakam is the art director of the film. The costume design of the film is by Linda Jeet. Jeethu Joseph had said that Twelfth Man is not a movie that can be compared to Drishya.

For me, this project is very different. The screenplay is by my friend Krishnakumar. Krishnakumar came to me two and a half years ago and came up with an idea. Lalettan is a character who has never been closer. Ninety percent of the film is in a single location. At a resort. That is why it is a film that can be made in the Kovid period.
The scene order of the film was first told to Laletta. Lalettan liked the idea. The story of this was hard to tell and execute. Either read the script. Or watch a movie. Because there is a huge star cast. There are actually 12 heroes in this movie. This is not a hero base movie. It is a story of 12 people. There are five other players. ‘Twelfth Man’ is a mystery movie. I would not call this a thriller. Agatha Christie is a film similar to the stories of old. The highlight is the suspense. So a lot of people were given scripts to get feedback. Discussed. Made changes. Well done.

I think such a pattern has not come up in Malayalam in recent times. That is what freshness is all about. The ‘visual’ team has come up with this too. The film was shot for 25 days. The shooting was fun. Go to bed during the day. The shoot was at night. Once on the resort no one could get out because of Kovid. So the shooting of the film was in a holiday mood. ‘Scene’ came out well in combination with me and Lalettan. So there will be expectations for it. Expectations of being above the ‘scene’. This is a movie that has nothing to do with the scene. So do not judge so. It’s a special vibe when working with Laletta. For 25 days the lieutenant was with us at a location. There were good interactions. This is a movie with good memories of everything.
