Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s support to more than 75,000 filmmakers during the Covid lockdown was much noticed.

This True Legend of the Year – Future of Young India Award to mega power star Ram Charan. The award was given for his contribution to cinema and society. The actor has been working as a part of Bled Bank activities for some time now.
Accepting the award, Ram Charan said that it was his father Chiranjeevi’s idea when he was on the board of the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank and took over many of its functions. Ram Charan said that when he was going to make his first film in 2007, his father advised him to take care of his support staff, rather than producers and directors, and always emphasized humanitarian values and instilled those qualities in him.
He said that in 1999, despite the advancements in medicine and technology, his very close relative lost his life during a surgery due to lack of timely blood supply, which prompted his father to start the noble initiative. Ram Charan, who scored a blockbuster hit with RRR, is currently starring in Shankar’s new big budget film. The name of this film, which is being prepared as a pan-Indian film, has not been revealed by the makers. Presented by leading production house Maithri Movie Makers, the rest of the cast will be announced in the coming days.
