US presidential candidate Donald Trump appears to have dramatically changed his approach to his Secret Service after the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. During his latest public appearance, witnesses did not notice a single female bodyguard.
A video taken at the Republican National Convention after the assassination attempt showed Trump surrounded by a dozen tall, burly men. This is notable given the hot topic in the US media – the failure of Trump’s Secret Service during the Pennsylvania shooting.
Many have begun to criticize Trump’s female bodyguards, claiming that the video footage of the assassination attempt shows only men rescuing him. However, as the American magazine Wired notes, this view is often based on “deceptively edited videos and images circulating online.”
The report also noted that the most common complaints about agents included claims that they were too small, too overweight, and inept at handling weapons.

Commenting on the new Trump video, Sky News Australia host Rowan Dean joked that “diversity and inclusion is dead” because Trump’s new bodyguards do not include a single DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) representative.
It is important to note that there is no exact information yet whether this substitution is a conscious decision or just a coincidence.
Earlier, Cursor reported that the shooting could have worsened Trump’s health.
