Trump and Harris’ odds are similar / The Day

According to a poll commissioned by The New York Times by the Siena College Research Institute, Trump, who has the support of 48% of Americans, is still slightly ahead of Harris, who is ready to vote for 47% of those polled.

However, Trump’s lead is within the margin of statistical error.

At the same time, the poll shows that Harris, slightly ahead of Trump, is leading in three of the so-called swing states – Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

In the four other swing states – Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina and Arizona – that could hinge on the outcome of the November election, the two contenders have similar chances.

On the other hand, according to a survey conducted by the public opinion research company “YouGov” commissioned by the television channel “CBS News”, the Democratic candidate leads her Republican rival by one percentage point in Michigan and Wisconsin, while in Pennsylvania the number of both supporters is similar.

Polls show that both candidates maintain a fairly stable base of supporters, but the situation could be changed by the televised debate between the two candidates scheduled for Tuesday.
