Former American leader and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has agreed with Fox News to hold debates with the US Vice President and his rival in the election race Kamala Harris on September 4, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“I have made arrangements with Fox News to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th,” he wrote on his Truth Social page. The meeting is expected to take place in Pennsylvania, with the exact location and time to be determined.
As Trump explained, the previous agreement to hold the debate on ABC on September 10 is no longer relevant, since Joe Biden has dropped out of the race. In addition, the Republican wants to have an audience at his debate with Harris. Biden’s campaign categorically opposed this and ensured that the debate between the two candidates for the highest state office in June took place in the presence of only the hosts.
Fox News has already proposed holding debates on September 17 and even sent invitations to Trump and Harris. Trump, in turn, said that he would like to hold not one, but several rounds of debates with Harris. Moreover, the Republican believes that it is impossible to hold debates on ABC due to the bias of this television company.
