Former US President Donald Trump has praised North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as “a very smart, very strong leader with absolute power.”

Former President Trump appeared on a YouTube live broadcast by Adin Ross, a famous game streamer and influencer, on the 5th (local time) and showed off his friendship with Kim Jong-un, saying, “(When I was president) I got to know him very well because he contacted me first and said he wanted to meet me, and we got along well.”

He added, “Many people say he may not be a leader, but when you look from the side, he is an absolute being who makes his subordinates stand up and focus.” He also said, “During the Singapore summit, they had lunch with 20 people, but it was the biggest press conference and it was the first time I saw a spectacle with 1,000 paparazzi gathered.”

Former President Trump, who is a former developer in New York, also revealed that he discussed real estate with Chairman Kim during two summits.

“North Korea has some really great real estate between Russia, China and South Korea that could make a lot of money,” he said. “I told Kim Jong Un to think about beautiful condos going up along the coasts of both oceans.”

Former President Trump continued his offensive by mentioning President Joe Biden and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Trump said, “You can consider him (Kim Jong-un) a wealthy enemy, but if you have a smart president (like me), there will be no problem. The bigger problem is the Democrats who are trying to destroy our country from within,” and about Vice President Harris, he said, “Kim Jong-un doesn’t know and doesn’t like.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s appearance on Ross’ YouTube is interpreted as a strategy to win the hearts of younger generations, including Generation Z.

Adin Ross, who interviewed Trump, is a famous influencer with over 7.28 million Instagram followers, 4.44 million YouTube subscribers, and 1.3 million followers on the broadcast platform KICK.

The New York Times analyzed this by saying, “The more important gift that former President Trump received by agreeing to the interview was that it gave him access to millions of young men and right-wing potential voters who follow Ross.”
