Former White House physician Ronny Jackson said there is “no evidence” that Donald Trump was hit by anything other than a bullet at a Pennsylvania rally earlier this month. The comments come after FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested Trump may have been hit by a metal fragment rather than a bullet.

The Independent writes about this.

Jackson, based on his first-hand observations and experience with similar injuries, said he fully agreed with the initial evaluation and treatment performed by doctors and nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital on the day of the shooting. He said Ray’s analysis was “flawed and inappropriate.”

During congressional testimony, Wray said the FBI collected eight spent shell casings from the rally site and accounted for every shot fired by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks at Trump. He also said there was some doubt about whether Trump’s ear injury was caused by a bullet or shrapnel.

Republican leaders and Trump himself insist that the former president’s ear was struck by a bullet. House Speaker Johnson told NBC News that multiple sources and video footage confirm that the bullet went through Trump’s ear.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said seeing Trump stand up after being shot and raise his fist with the American flag was “one of the coolest things” he’s ever seen in his life.

Earlier, Cursor wrote that one of the police officers guarding the event where Trump spoke left his post.
