According to a Wall Street Journal report, it was revealed that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man accused of attempting to assassinate former President Trump, flew a drone over a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, hours before the attack. It was a carefully planned move.

Further investigation revealed that Crooks had registered for the rally on July 3, several days before the event. This supports the idea that he had been carefully preparing and planning his actions in advance. Crooks also went on tours the day before the assassination attempt, likely to better understand the rally site and prepare for the attack.

Particularly disturbing is the fact that Crooks’ car was found to be loaded with explosives, ready to be detonated remotely, as well as a vest and ammunition.

While Crooks’ actual motive remains unclear, investigators found that he had an interest in political rallies for Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

His internet searches confirm that he closely followed political activity in the country.
