Trump criticizes Oscars and Jimmy Kimmel asks if former President shouldn’t already be in prison

Donald Trump criticized the Oscars gala and the host Jimmy Kimmel, through the social network Truth Social and the presenter responded live to the former North American head of state.

The former President of the United States asked if “there is a worse host” than Kimmel and said that the ceremony was “a bad show of political correctness”.

“Boring and very unfair,” he added.

In response, Jimmy Kimmel showed his cell phone live during the Oscars gala, read part of Donald Trump’s publication and questioned whether the former head of state “shouldn’t already be in prison”, alluding to the legal cases in which he is involved.

Donald Trump will be the Republican Party’s candidate for the 2024 Presidential Election, against Joe Biden, in a repeat of the 2020 duel.

At the Oscars, “Oppenheimer” was the big winner, winning seven statuettes, including Best Film.
