with his primary endorsements.
While highlighting those mixed outcomes, Welker pointed to a high-profile victory for appointed interim U.S. Senator Darline Graham, the sister of her late predecessor Lindsey Graham, who secured her primary battle in South Carolina. That distinction did little to temper the president’s reaction.
