(ANSA) – SAINT CLOUD, JULY 27 – “This November, the American people will reject Kamala Harris’s insane liberal extremism with a huge victory,” Donald Trump said at a rally in Minnesota on Saturday night. The Republican candidate for the White House took aim at several positions taken by Harris during the 2020 Democratic primary campaign, some of which have since been retracted, such as her desire to ban fracking or to substantially overhaul the criminal justice system. Calling Harris a “radical leftist nutcase,” Trump also attacked her and President Joe Biden’s record on illegal immigration, inflation and crime. In his 90-minute speech, the populist billionaire then reiterated his promise to carry out the largest deportation operation in US history and to end the tip tax, while repeating that his 2020 defeat was the result of a “rigged” election.
