Former President Donald Trump said Tesla CEO Elon Musk lied to him after he personally told him he had voted for him in 2016.

Musk said during a technology conference in Miami last May that he may have never voted for a Republican candidate, and for most of his life he voted for a Democratic candidate.

“You know, [מאסק] He said a few days ago, ‘Oh, I never voted Republican,’ “Trump said during Saturday’s rally in Anchorage, Alaska.” I said, ‘I did not know that.’ He told me he voted for me. So he’s another master of nonsense. “

Trump also said he knows the Twitter deal and Musk will fall. The director said Musk would not buy Twitter at “such a ridiculous price.”

“Elon is not going to buy Twitter. Where did you hear that before? From me,” Trump said.

Trump called Musk’s contract with Twitter a “rotten deal.” “He’s not going to buy it,” Trump said. “Although maybe later. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen? He has a pretty rotten contract. I looked at his contract. A bad contract.”

Trump ended the speech by encouraging the audience to download Truth Social, his social media app, instead.
