Trump to publish letters exchanged with celebrities, including message from North Korean dictator – News

Publisher Winning Team Publishing reported on Thursday (9) that former US President Donald Trump will publish about 150 letters from great names in modern history, including North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and host Oprah Winfrey .

Letters to Trump (Letters to Trump, in free translation) brings together “incredible and often private” correspondence between the businessman and world leaders, media personalities, athletes and executives from large companies, according to Winning Team Publishing.

The book, which goes on sale April 25, spans four decades of messages and reveals, for example, that Winfrey told the Republican leader in 2000: “Too bad we’re not running. What a team!”

Many of the letters, all chosen by Trump, are from media personalities, but others are from big names in politics, such as former President Richard Nixon, Hillary Clinton and Kim Jong-un, the statement said.

The former American president’s contacts with Kim had great political relevance and even some eccentricity, as when Trump said that he and the authoritarian North Korean leader “were in love” with each other.

Kim’s messages were part of confidential government documents found at Trump’s Florida mansion last year, for which the former president is accused of embezzlement.
