In a speech at a rally for the mid-term elections in the state of Nevada in the United States, Donald Trump warned of the dangers of escalation and nuclear weapons. “We must demand immediate negotiations to end the war in Ukraine peacefully, and no – we will fall into a third world war that will leave nothing of our planet,” said Trump.
Trump also warned that such a threat scenario could occur because of “stupid people who have no idea of his nuclear weapons capabilities.” Trump’s warnings come after a speech by Biden on Thursday in which he warned of nuclear war, saying the possibility of nuclear war was at its highest level since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.
President Biden warned that the use of tactical nuclear weapons could quickly lead to global destruction and said: “I don’t think there is any ability to easily use tactical nuclear weapons and not end up in Armageddon.”
