“On the advice of Elon Musk, who has given me full and complete support, I will create a government task force charged with ensuring the complete financial and operational performance of the entire federal government,” he announced. .
“You know what you are doing (…) And Elon, because he is not very active, has agreed to head the task force,” the former US president revealed during an event at the Economic Club of New York, CNN reports.

In response, Musk wrote on his X account that he “looks forward to serving America if the opportunity arises” and that he will do so without needing to receive a salary, title, or recognition.
