The ex-wife of the wanted lobbyist in the judicial branch gave the American services flash drives with information about his activities

Pepi Euroto is the main organizer of the attack on Corporate Commercial Bank, and his ex-wife Lyubena Petrova gave flash drives with information on the case to the American services.

These statements were made by the defendant for draining the KTB, Tsvetan Vassilev, before the commission in the parliament, which is checking the influence in the judiciary of the murdered Martin Bojanov – the Notary and of the former investigator Petyo Petrov – Pepi Euroto.

The meeting, which lasted about 2 hours, ended in scandals between DPS, on the one hand, and PP-DB and “Vazrazhdane”, on the other. The sound with Belgrade fell apart, and then the commission broke up because of a hearing in the plenary hall of ministers.

Hamid Hamid urged the defendant to return to Bulgaria to appear in the case against him, and asked him several times about his ties to Moscow. He even suggested that the commission’s hearing be at the Russian embassy.

Vasilev joined remotely via video connection from Serbia, where he has lived for 10 years. He did not know the Notary, but he met Euroto in 2005 and they were even neighbors in the same building in Bansko, when the investigation into the draining of KTB began, Petrov led the Metropolitan Investigation Service.

“I don’t know what the organization of the “Eight Dwarfs” circle was, because it existed after the attack on the bank, when Euroto left the investigation,” explained Tsvetan Vasilev. And in this public appearance, the fugitive banker talked about his relationship with Delyan Peevski, with whom they had common projects, but their paths diverged.

Tsvetan Vassilev knew that Lyubena Petrova had given the American services a flash drive with information about the attack on KTB. The US Congress in 2022 has two letters sanctioning Ivan Geshev for his role in the bankruptcy of KTB. The second letter is a direct consequence of the materials that Lyubena Petrova provided, Vasilev said when asked by “Vazrazhdane” if he knew what Petrova and Krasimir Kamenov-Kuro had discussed with the American services. The meeting was in Geneva.

Tsvetan Vasilev also told his version of why Ivan Geshev was removed from his post – because of the letters from the American congressmen and the revelations of Lyubena Petrova. Before becoming the chief prosecutor, Geshev led the investigation into the bankruptcy of KTB.
