The groom, who was engaged to marry Shekhar Reddy’s daughter, suffered a sudden heart attack and is being treated in the hospital in a critical condition.
Engaged to Shekhar Reddy’s daughter
Dharma Reddy is the Administrative Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. His son is Chandramouli Reddy (age 27). He recently got engaged to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam’s Tamil Nadu – Puducherry State Council Chairman and industrialist Shekhar Reddy’s daughter.
The two were to get married in Chennai on January 26 next year (2023) and it was to be officiated by Andhra Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy.
For the past few days, Chandramouli Reddy has been giving out her wedding invitations to relatives and friends’ houses. In this situation, Chandramouli Reddy suffered a heart attack the day before yesterday. Following this, he was immediately admitted to Kaveri Hospital in Alwarpettai, Chennai for treatment. He is receiving intensive care there.
Treatment in critical condition
Kaveri Hospital released his medical certificate yesterday. Dr. Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and managing director of the hospital, said in the medical note:-
On the 18th (the day before yesterday) Chandramouli Reddy was admitted to the emergency department of Kaveri Hospital after suffering a heart attack. There he was given CPR. After the tests were completed, he was shifted to the cath lab. There he was treated with ‘ecmo’ and a stent was implanted in the coronary artery.
He is in critical condition as his organs are failing. A team of hospital doctors and nurses are actively monitoring him.
Both houses are sad
