Indian Stock Market Opens Higher on Tuesday
The Indian stock market opened higher on Tuesday, despite a significant fall in global markets on Monday. The BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 1000 points, while the Nifty opened above 24,300 points. Auto, metal, energy, and IT stocks were among those that saw gains.

Tata Motors and Adani Ports have risen by approximately 4%.
Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro, and ONGC have the highest gains on the NSE.

Market Cap Reaches New High
The rise in the market has pushed the market cap of BSE-listed companies to Rs 448.59 lakh crore, an increase of Rs 6.75 lakh crore.
Global Market Overview
Stock markets across Asia-Pacific have also seen gains. Japan’s Nikkei 225 surged by 9.87%, while the Broad Best Topix index climbed by 9.95%. Other notable gains were seen in Australia, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
US stock markets experienced a significant decline on Monday, with the Dow and S&P 500 experiencing their biggest drop since September 2022. However, there was some improvement in overnight trading, with futures contracts showing modest gains.
