The final of the WTA 500 tournament in Berlin, on grass, will pit Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic against Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur on Sunday June 19, who beat American Coco Gauff 7-6 (7/4), 6-2 in the semi-final on Saturday . After a tight first set, Jabeur, world number 4, won the tie-break 7 points to 4. She then did not release the pressure on her young 18-year-old opponent (13th), finalist of the last Roland Garros, who never returned to the game. At 27, Jabeur is currently at the best of his career. In May, she became the first Arab and African player to win a WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid.
