Breaking News: Alleged Killer of Tupac Shakur, Keefe D, Appears in Court for Murder Charge Arraignment

November 2, 2023 – 9:30 AM PT

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man who has allegedly been responsible for the murder of Tupac Shakur over 25 years ago, finally had his day in court after two delays.

Keefe D appeared in a Clark County courtroom in Las Vegas on Thursday morning, handcuffed and ready to face his murder charge. He pled not guilty after being appointed a public defender.

This comes after two previous delays in which Keefe D’s lawyer did not appear. The initial hearing took place at the beginning of October, while the second hearing was also delayed for the same issue.

Clark County District Attorney, Steve Wolfson, announced during the initial hearing that Keefe D was expected to plead not guilty to the charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

Keefe D’s arrest occurred near the end of September, and body cam footage of the arrest showed him in a calm state while being placed in the back of a police car.

The arrest and subsequent interviews have shed light on his alleged involvement in Tupac’s killing, which played a significant role in reopening the 27-year-old case.

As the legal process unfolds, the world eagerly awaits further updates in this high-profile case.
