TORINO – During the activity of the State Police, some checks were carried out in a restaurant in Via Monginevro.
Following the inspection, poor hygiene conditions of the premises and food storage emerged. Widespread dirt on the floors, on the equipment and near the surfaces where the dishes were prepared. The food stored in the refrigerators was found without labelling relating to the date of preparation, origin and traceability. The temperature of the refrigerators was found unsuitable for refrigerationand foods, some of which emanated bad smell.
In light of this, 65 kg of food were seized for subsequent destruction because they were harmful to the consumer. Furthermore, the ASL inspectors decreed the immediate suspension of activity until the expected conditions are restored.
