At the World Defense Show exhibition in Saudi Arabia, the fifth-generation Turkish armored personnel carrier PARS ALPHA 8X8, manufactured by FNSS, was presented, Day.Az reports.
FNSS CEO, Nail Kurt, said the PARS ALPHA 8X8 is the result of 35 years of effort by the company’s engineers to combine technological developments, experience and customer feedback to create an armored personnel carrier that meets the security requirements of the region.
Features of the PARS ALPHA 8X8 include a unique internal space distribution, where the power group is divided by a compartment for the driver and other personnel, as well as mine protection and ballistic protection. The dimensions of the armored personnel carrier have been reduced, and its power reaches 700 horsepower.
Also important features of the PARS ALPHA 8X8 are the adjustable hydropneumatic suspension, which allows you to change the ground clearance, and the ability to lift the vehicle in conditions of high mine danger. These technical characteristics make the PARS ALPHA 8X8 effective for a variety of applications over the next 30-40 years.
