Turkish Cypriot State Theatres, affiliated with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, is preparing to open a new theater season with traditional children’s theater premieres.
Our theater, which has been reaching thousands of children by performing in various regions from Karpaz to Lefke for many years, opens the 2023-2024 season with the play called “Hidden World”, targeting children aged 4 and over.
After the premiere in İskele on Monday, November 20, he will go on a journey to perform for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of primary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and Culture.
The play “Hidden World”, written by Gülen İpek Abalı and directed by Nergül Tuncay Fellahoğlu, aims to remind children not only of the joy of reading fairy tales, but also of the importance of dreaming. At a time when today’s children have forgotten how to read books and moved away from dreaming, this play invites children to a fun and educational adventure by bringing the magical world of fairy tales to life on the stage.
