The Turkish defense industrial company Otokar held an official presentation of the armored vehicles of the future at a plant in Sakarya.
According to Day.Az with reference to Turkish media, the public saw the ALPAR unmanned robotic complex, the ARMA II 8×8 vehicle, and the AKREP II R reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle.
Representatives of the company paid more attention to ALPAR. This complex was developed by Otokar as an unmanned platform. The list of its capabilities includes performing tasks along with manned and unmanned elements on the battlefield.
The machine has a maximum loaded weight of 15 tons. It is designed to reduce the risks of personnel and increase the efficiency of tasks.
