Turkey’s Superior Electoral Council officially announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
and the leader of the opposition Kemal Kilicdaroglu
will contest the second round of the country’s presidential elections on May 28.

Confirmation of the second round was made on the morning of Monday (15), after counting the votes. With 99,87%

Erdogan
won first place with 49.51% of the votes;
Kilicdaroglu
