TV rights Serie A 2021-24 assigned to Dazn

The TV rights of Serie A for the three-year period 2021-2024 have been assigned to Dazn. This was decided by the Serie A League, gathered in the Assembly, according to what learns. In favor of Dazn’s offer, 16 clubs voted against four. The necessary quorum was 14.

PACKAGES – The Serie A League has implemented the turning point, after the agreement found yesterday, it decided to assign packages 1 and 3 to Dazn for an amount equal to about 840 million euros per season which includes 7 matches per day in exclusive (package 1) and and 3 co-exclusive races (package 3).

There were four clubs opposed to the agreement with the streaming platform: Genoa, Crotone, Sampdoria and Sassuolo. As regards package 2, with the co-exclusive of the 3 races, negotiations will continue with Sky until Monday 29 March, the date on which the 70 million-per-season offer of the satellite platform is expected to expire.
