Twenty20 World Cup: Kiwis likely to win, says Ganguly Ganguly says Kiwis have a chance to win the Twenty20 World Cup

Sharjah: Former India captain and BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has said that predictions in the world of sports, especially cricket, may not be 100 per cent accurate and that New Zealand’s chances of winning the World Twenty20 on Sunday are slim.

He was addressing the audience at the ‘Dada-Unplugged’ event at the Sharjah International Book Fair. India’s return without even reaching the semi-finals was heartbreaking. Ganguly said he was in a dilemma as to who would win the final.

Australia are still in good form when it comes to the list of teams. If Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoines’ performance against Pakistan in the final against New Zealand, all predictions will be clean-bowled. “Cricket has some good times and if so, I think this is New Zealand’s time,” he said.
