Various regions of the country including Feni, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong are affected by severe floods. Many have posted on Facebook to stand by the flood victims. Stars are also among them. Actress Parimani has announced to stand by the flood victims with the maximum.
On Wednesday (August 21), he shared a picture of a child sitting under water on Facebook. The actress wrote in the caption, ‘Allah! What will I do! There is a heaviness in the chest. How can I sleep looking at these eyes!’
Parimani also writes, ‘God help you. There is no one now. I will go, I will do my best, inshallah.’
The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has stated that the number of districts affected by floods has been 6 so far. They are Comilla, Feni, Chittagong, Khagrachari, Noakhali and Moulvibazar. 43 upazilas of these districts were flooded. In these six districts, a total of 1 lakh 89 thousand 663 families have become watertight. A total of 17 lakh 96 thousand 248 people have been affected.
The Ministry also informed that the relief distribution program is ongoing in the flood affected districts.
