In addition to helping Twitch creators reach audiences while they’re on the go, the company also sees the video Stories feature as a way for creators to stay connected with their audiences.
For example, creators can ask questions through videos and invite viewers to take polls.
Additionally, creators can create personalized videos using the @mentions feature to greet new viewers who subscribe.
MmAdditionally, creators can use video stories to share clips and highlights from their latest streams, promote upcoming streams, or notify users about schedule changes.
While the Story feature in text and photo form was initially launched exclusively on mobile devices, Twitch has now made all of these features accessible through the web app as well.
