To that end, Twitter has announced that only verified users can vote in polls from now on. In this regard, Elon Musk posted a tweet on his Twitter page. Accordingly, only verified Twitter accounts will be eligible to vote in the Twitter poll from April 15.
This is the only realistic way to prevent AI bots from voting. Otherwise, he said, there will be no credibility in the polls. Elon Musk’s Twitter announcements are generally viewed as odd. Some announcements remain pending changes to Twitter’s policies or features. Previously, Elon Musk had announced that Twitter would be sharing ad revenue with Blue subscribers.
He made the announcement in February, but almost two months later, they have not been operational. He also promised to open-source Twitter’s algorithm by March 5, which has yet to happen.
However, notifications related to Blue Tick are being implemented immediately. This means that paid subscriptions, paid subscription plans that are profitable for Twitter, are fully operational. Similarly, netizens say that Elon Musk is forcing people to pay a fee and get a blue tick if they want to participate in the polls.
