At the premiere of the film Sinh Tu, director Do Thanh Hai jokingly said that journalists should ask director Trong Trinh if he deserved the title of People’s Artist because there was a scene that had to be filmed 60 times. But according to Trong Trinh, there was a scene that he had to film more than 70 times to get it right.

People’s Artist Trong Trinh said he did not know if there would be more difficult roles in the future, but Sinh Tu was the most challenging film to date.
Episode 79 of the film Sinh Tu attracted attention with the scene where Secretary Nhan (People’s Artist Trong Trinh) held a disciplinary meeting for officials related to the Mai Hong Vu case. Although it lasted less than 3 minutes and People’s Artist Trong Trinh spoke very firmly on film, in reality this scene made him sweat.
Because it belongs to the political film genre, the characters are all high-ranking leaders in the government apparatus, so the dialogue has many specialized terms, many hidden meanings and requires high precision. Although an experienced actor, People’s Artist Trong Trinh had to film 72 times to get the dialogue right. However, in return, his role left a mark on his career as well as being remembered by the audience.

At the age of 67, People’s Artist Trong Trinh is living a peaceful life with his wife and children. He said that the relationship between his two sons and his current wife is very good.
