A major scare was experienced during the first series of the TC Pista (opening for Turismo Carretera) in La Pampa, which had Nicolás Moscardini (Ford) as the winner. The very serious accident left spectators paralyzed and forced them to immediately take an interest in the state of health of those involved. Fortunately, both Mario Valle, who lost control of his Chevrolet, and Juan Ignacio Maceira (Ford), who ended up hitting him, did not suffer serious injuries.
It happened that the Ford hit the front side of Sportteam’s car, which resulted in both having to abandon the qualifying race. The incident caused the intervention of the Pace Car, which was on the track for most of the series and Valle was transferred to the Favaloro Hospital in Santa Rosa (La Pampa) to undergo tests and studies.
“They are both stable, with trauma to their hands and ankles, but they are fine,” said the head of the ACTC medical team, Rodolfo Balinotti, after arriving at the scene. Roberto Valle, Mario’s father, said: “In general terms he is fine, he never lost consciousness. Logically, with some pain, but he remembers everything. He will stay to do all the studies.” Of course, the vehicles suffered a lot of damage, especially to the front.

With the victory he is the leader of the championship and the fourth different driver, in the same number of dates, to celebrate in the year; success imposes him as the biggest winner at the Toay racetrack, where the fourth episode of the calendar took place, which had a particular regulation with the change of the front and right rear tires, and increased his series of recording at least one victory in every course in the last 14 years.
He completed the task by matching a historical fact: 57 years ago, in the Vuelta de La Pampa, Oscar Cabalén won with a Ford Mustang F-100, the only success of the American model until the triumph that Werner signed with an imperial maneuver over Diego Ciantini ( Chevrolet), in the only relaunch that the competition had, four laps before the checkered flag.
