Second cases of violence against medical staff in two days: this morning (Friday) a family member of a patient in the Ziv Medical Center in Safed resorted to severe verbal violence against a doctor, yesterday, a 26-year-old man shouted and threatened the medical staff in the internal hospitalization department in Ziv.
The person who was hospitalized for several days began to confront the ward nurses. A senior doctor who came to calm the spirits, was threatened by the man who even ran towards the doctor in order to attack him.
Thanks to the quick action of the security department and the policeman who is permanently stationed at the hospital, the case was dealt with quickly and the incident was stopped.
In both cases, a complaint was filed with the police and the attackers were detained for questioning.
The Ziv Medical Center stated that they will not tolerate any type of violence against medical staff.
