Two children still in “vital emergency”, according to Olivier Véran

Two of the four children injured in the knife attack in Annecy are still in “vital emergency”said Friday morning, Olivier Véran, the government spokesman, at the microphone of Franceinfo.

“From what I know, there would be two more children who would be considered in absolute urgency, in vital emergency”he said, adding that “surgery was performed”.

“There will be answers that will have to be given (…) but I don’t understand, when we’re in emotional times, when the kids are in the operating room, when everyone is starting to indulge in a rather unhealthy game of explanations and justifications, which is not the time to do it”he also warned.
