Eli Desa Celebrates (Vitsa Official Website)
Eli Desa continued in his fantastic form and today (Sunday) cooked twice in Vitesse’s 1: 4 victory over local rival, Neimchen. The Israeli cooked in the 54th minute (from a corner kick) and immediately in the 56th minute, after his team fell behind in the 49th minute.
Both goals, by Danilo Duaki and Dominic Oros, were scored with a touchdown. In the 80th minute Oros completed a double and in the 95th minute Thomas Botinik set the result of the game. Vitesse established itself in sixth place in the table and stopped a streak of five league games without a win.
As you may recall, during Vitesse’s last game in the Conference League, Desa recorded two great touchdowns, and today added two more. The national team defender will soon end his contract with the Dutch team, but with such an ability he will probably at least be offered a new contract.
