Two of its hotels in Cuba are among the best hotels in the world in 2024 again, according to the Travelers Choice Awards ‘Best of the Best’ list by travel platform Tripadvisor.
In this case, the chosen ones were the Iberostar Grand Packard in Havana and the Mystique Trinidad La Popa by Royalton in Trinidad, which appear in positions 5 and 19 respectively.
According to Tripadvisor, this title celebrates “the highest level of travel excellence” and is awarded to “those who receive a high number of outstanding reviews and comments from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. Of our 8 million listings, less than 1% achieve this milestone.”
In the case of Iberostar Grand Packard, the famous terrace describes it as “an elegant and modern 5-star hotel that will surely impress you. Thanks to its privileged location, you can see amazing sights while enjoying an atmosphere full of the charm of Old Havana.”
In addition, he advised travelers to visit to relax at the Spa, take advantage of the swimming pool and other facilities “for well-deserved rest and relaxation” or “eat at the resort’s restaurants that serve best available.”
Regarding the Mystique Trinidad La Popa by Royalton, he considered it “a great place to book an adventure and live in Cuba. With stunning sunset views, the hotel has spacious rooms, a solarium and an outdoor pool for adults to relax in.”
Highlights included hiking or horseback riding in the neighborhood, “the excellent food in the restaurant or the delicious cocktails prepared by Carlos, the bartender,” the hospitality of the staff, “the refreshments” and “its unique architecture” makes “every stay truly enjoyable.”
The ‘Best’ list puts Hotel Colline de France, in Brazil, in first place; then OBLU SELECT Lobigili, in the Maldives; La Siesta Hoy Resort and Spa, in Vietnam; and the Adiwana Suweta, in Indonesia.
