Two days later one was rescued alive

So far 280 people have been rescued by the Greek Coast Guard.

A passenger ferry was sailing from the Greek port of Igomenitza to the Italian port of Prindici. The boat caught fire early last Friday morning. The boat carried 292 passengers. 280 of them were rescued by the Greek Coast Guard.

At this point, while the boat was being brought ashore today, rescue crews found someone alive in the back of the boat. He was rescued by rescuers.

Eleven more passengers are missing, according to Greek officials. Authorities said they were from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Lithuania.
