The baby bazaar team with Carola Platzer, Steffi Dietrich, Daniela Stöhr, Kathrin Popp and Marion Rolle donated the proceeds to charitable institutions in the region again this year. 500 euros went to the Königstein kindergarten. “A playhouse will be purchased for the garden for this purpose,” said head Kerstin Höller happily. The children’s palliative care team at the St. Marien Clinic in Amberg, which is currently caring for 26 seriously ill children and their relatives, received a further 600 euros. “One hundred percent of the donation is used to the families”, nurse Karin Borchers assured – regardless of whether it is for things that make everyday life easier for children and parents or for last wishes that the team fulfills. It consists of paediatricians, children’s nurses, a social worker and a psychologist together. The children are cared for at home to avoid hospital stays. Donations are very welcome at the children’s palliative team in East Bavaria. IBAN DE09752500000021163597. The reference “SAPPV” or “children’s palliative team” is important.
