Israeli Air Force fighter jets fired four missiles at a southern Beirut suburb that houses the offices of the Shiite militia Hezbollah.

As reported by Day.Az with reference to TASS, according to preliminary information, two commanders of armed formations were killed. According to him, a woman was killed among civilians and at least six more people were injured

“The strike was carried out in the area where the Bahman hospital is located, 100 meters from the Hezbollah headquarters and the building where the Shiite organization’s Advisory Council is located,” the source said. “Where the rockets fell, a four-story building was heavily damaged, and neighboring buildings and parked cars were damaged,” he said.

A source in Hezbollah’s military information service said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel that the Israeli airstrike was aimed at “killing a high-ranking military leader.” However, he said he managed to escape the assassination attempt and left the headquarters before the strike.
