After the cross complaints of President Brigitte Henriques and her former secretary general Didier Séminet, the Brigade for the repression of delinquency against persons has launched investigations.

Two investigations were opened in Paris after the cross complaints of the president of the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF) Brigitte Henriques and its former secretary general Didier Séminet, AFP learned on Saturday from the Paris prosecutor’s office, confirming information franceinfo.

These two investigations were entrusted to the Brigade for the Suppression of Delinquency against Persons (BRDP).

Cross Complaints

After months of conflicting relations, the president of the CNOSF, elected in June 2021, decided to separate from the one who was then her right arm, a departure which was recorded on September 12.

A week later, she filed a complaint against Didier Séminet for psychological violence, before stepping back for a few weeks from the head of the CNOSF and being replaced by a quartet of leaders, plunging the institution into an unprecedented situation.

Since the announcement of this complaint, Didier Séminet, who remains a member of the board of directors of the national Olympic committee, believes that he has experienced “a real media lynching».

In early November, he in turn filed a complaint against Ms. Henriques for slanderous denunciation and breach of trust.

Persistent crisis

On Tuesday, Henriques told AFP that she had asked the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to carry out an audit to try to “stopto the cabal of which she considers herself a victim for months, while the instance celebrated its fiftieth anniversary on Tuesday.

The crisis persists there: in mid-March, the publication of the report of two administrators who had access to the institution’s ledger of accounts added fuel to the fire, detailing the amounts committed by the CNOSF for the dismissal of former secretary general.

Didier Séminet was surprised in the process, in a letter addressed to the administrators, that the theft of a bank card intended for the president with which 2,000 euros had been disbursed was not mentioned.

The next board meeting is scheduled for April 12.
