Two Israeli women were killed today (Friday) in a serious car accident in the mountainous Kada area – about 40 km from Batumi in Georgia. This was reported on the Ynet website.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the accident between a tourist minibus and a truck, 17 other people were injured, most likely Israelis, with varying degrees of injury.
The injured were rushed to three hospitals in the area, and some were put into an operating room.

The Georgian media reported that the accident occurred near the village of Makhontesti, when a minibus transporting tourists collided with a truck.
